help Jangala connect the unconnected

Sometimes the ability to send a single message can be the difference between life and death.

Extreme Networks has started a donation site to raise money and support Jangala, a not-for-profit organisation that creates and delivers a portable emergency Wi-Fi system called Big Box. These Wi-Fi boxes simplify the complex process of setting up internet in difficult environments and situations, by removing the technical expertise needed to shape traffic, manage bandwidth and control access to content.

Each dollar raised will help make a difference in the lives of people whose need for access to communication and information is most critical: from refugees landing on the shores of Greece messaging loved ones, to healthcare workers in rural South Africa needing to receive urgent test results. Communication and the means to communicate is vital to surviving. Even a few words can make a huge difference.
