Jangala and P3 Charity’s Digital Inclusion Project
To explore how connectivity can help address digital exclusion,Jangala delivered a five-month project through the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) Digital Inclusion Innovation Fund, working in partnership with P3 Charity across the East and West Midlands.
Through the project, we also surveyed over 300 residents and support workers, at the start of the project and after 3+ months having Jangala Wi-Fi in private rooms and flats to understand the impact of the Get Boxes.
Digital lifelines: how Wi-Fi impacts the lives of residents in temporary accommodation
Jangala, in partnership with Virgin Media O2, Coventry City Council’s #CovConnects initiative, and Good Things Foundation, has completed a pilot project supporting people living in temporary accommodation in Coventry with internet connectivity.
Working with local charities, NHS services and housing associations, this pilot project supported 429 people to get online. This new research evaluation report, conducted by Jangala, explores the critical need for internet access and the impact of connectivity in their lives.
