Jangala can provide organisations in Türkiye with internet-enabling Big Boxes to support their relief efforts following the devastating earthquake. We have fully-funded Big Boxes that generate Wi-Fi connectivity ready to go thanks to the generous support of Virgin Media O2. They can be deployed rapidly and with six months of free data.

Big Box is a waterproof, shockproof and dustproof system that creates a reliable and secure Wi-Fi connection to serve hundreds of users anywhere where there is 3G or 4G signal (satellite broadband link also available). It can be used in temporary settings such as camps, distribution centres and schools and clinics. Learn more about our project process here.

2. Donate to Jangala

In order for us to support as many projects as possible and to provide valuable internet connectivity to communities in desperate need, we need your support.

By donating to Jangala, you’ll be helping displaced people find friends and family, get the emergency help they need, and to start rebuilding their lives.

Just £10 can provide a project with enough data for a week. £70 will cover the labour costs for assembling Big Box, while £700 will pay for the materials. £3,000 will pay for a full Big Box deployment, including materials, labour, shipping and remote support.
